Breakfast was simply Frosted Flakes, waffles and a cup of coffee. I didn’t get a chance to eat much since I overslept a bit and I was on the baggage loading team. Andrew and I along with new recruit Xiao loaded the bus. About 20 minutes later, the bus left Greenfield and headed for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The bus ride was quite short; lasting only about half an hour to get to Indianapolis. As soon as we arrived, we got off the bus, walked about 20m and went into another bus for the tour of the racetrack. We drove along the racetrack while the overhead speakers told the history of the speedway since it first opened in 1911. We drove past the pagoda, the VIP seats and the golf course that was partially inside the tracks. We did a full lap around the track and we crossed the original brick finish line. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to get off the bus and kiss the bricks like how the racers would do.
We finished our 10 minute bus tour around the speedway and headed into gift shop. There were steering wheel covers, license plates, shot glasses and beer holders. I bought myself a pin for my wedge and headed out for the hall of fame.

The hall of fame had all the winning cars ever since the race started. There was a display of the early cars to win the 500 miles race in the early 1900s.
Its speed was around 120km/h and finished the race in 6 hours. Just by how it looked like, I wouldn’t even drive that thing in a school zone let alone drive it at 120km/h.

There were more than just race winning cars in that building. There were motorcycles, an electric wedge car and even a jet powered race car going up to 950km/h. The one that caught my interest was the blue tricycle built in 1897.

It had two wheels in the front, one in the back. The passenger sat in the front and the driver was in the back. Everything was backwards on this tricycle. And the best part about this was its one cylinder engine that allowed this thing to go 100km/h. I know how a two cylinder engine worked but I’ve never even heard of a one cylinder engine.

We spent a good hour inside the hall of fame looking at old and new cars. After that, we got on to our luxury coach bus and left for Chicago. On the way, we ate lunch at Arby’s. I got a spicy santa fe and mozzarella sticks, something that I haven’t had in ages. I finished my meal and as I was heading out, I somehow got a free chicken bacon burger for free. I wasn’t full, so I quickly chowed down on the second burger and went back onto the bus.

We arrived in Naperville at around 5:00pm. We checked into Hampton Inn and Patrick, my new roommate, and I went up to our rooms to put our stuff in and went back down for dinner.
We went to another Golden Coral for dinner. I mentioned in my previous post that there was a chocolate fountain in Golden Corrals. Today, I served myself to some soft ice cream and put it under the chocolate fountain. Good grief, it was messy. I had hot chocolate and cold ice cream melting on my hands but it was a great dessert.

After dinner, we went to see a movie. We arrived at the cinema at 7:00 and we were given a choice of RIPD or White House Down. Unfortunately, White House Down was unavailable so everyone saw RIPD. It was a fun comedy action movie that reminded me of Men in Black with  the secret organization fighting against monsters and aliens in human
disguise

The movie ended 8:50 and we hurried back to the hotel. We did our briefing in the bus to save time.
Tomorrowm we’ll be going to Downtown Chicago and visiting the pier.

Did you eat any friut or vegetable since the trip started? Please have healthy food, or you will feel sick after coming back home. Seriously. By the way, it's hot in Dallas but it is cool otherwise.
